Serie “Sé Perfecta”

“Sé Perfecta” is my first series of black and white paintings, including various poems that follow a character plagued by her desires and contradicting needs. In this surreal body of work, the subject is seen shifting through states, avoiding any fixed identity, learning to perform in order to exist, even as that performance begins to consume her. Her poses imitate those of a mime to capture this tension, giving the impression she is trapped within the canvas. Rooted in personal experiences, the work examines cycles of addiction, validation, femininity, suicide, and how these themes repeat.
